All visitors and members guests are very welcome to play at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club but must conform to our Club rules and expected etiquette.
We ask that all visitors please:
- Play with care for the course by replacing divots, neatly raking bunkers and repairing pitch marks.
- Play with due care and attention for other matches.
- Keep up with the group in front or wave the following group through without delay.
- Buggies and trolleys are to be kept to paths at all times and are not allowed in the rough.
No dogs are allowed on the course.
Dress Code
e hope you enjoy the course and exceptional clubhouse facilities. Please be aware of our dress rules which are outlined here:
On the course or practice areas, golfers are required to wear smart conventional golfing attire with spike or dimpled golf shoes. Shirts must be tucked in at the waist. Only tailored trousers or tailored knee length shorts are permitted. Shorts must be worn with knee length socks or short white sports socks.
Players must not wear any of the following:
- any form of denim
- trainers or open sandals
- track suits
We have a Spike Bar where golf clothing and shoes can be worn. Golfers wearing shorts are reminded that these cannot be worn in the clubhouse with the exception of the Spike Bar.
